Βίδα Fischer 670369 120 mm 200 τεμ.

Fischer 670369 screws are precision metal wood screws 120 mm in length, supplied in a pack of 200. Designed for reliable fastening in timber and wooden constructions, these screws combine a 5 mm diameter with a 70 mm threaded length to provide secure hold and good load transfer in a variety of wood types. The consistent geometry and corrosion-resistant surface make them suitable for both interior carpentry and general woodworking tasks where long, sturdy fasteners are required.

Advantages

These metal wood screws offer uniform thread quality and dimensional accuracy for predictable performance during installation. The 120 mm overall length with a 70 mm threaded portion ensures deep penetration and strong clamping force, while the 5 mm diameter balances shear strength and ease of driving. Supplied in a bulk pack of 200, they are convenient for larger projects and professional use, reducing the need for frequent reordering. The surface treatment provides resistance against typical wear and supports long-term stability of connections in wooden components.

Suitable for

• Indoor and outdoor wooden structures (treated wood subject to local exposure conditions)
• Carpentry, framing, and substructure assembly
• Decking, joist connections and timber repairs
• Furniture assembly where long fastening depth is required

Key specifications

• Length: 120 mm (overall)
• Thread length: 70 mm
• Diameter: 5 mm
• Material: metal
• Pack quantity: 200 pieces
• Intended substrate: wood

How to use

Select an appropriate pilot hole diameter and drilling depth according to the wood species and screw diameter to avoid splitting and ensure correct embedment. For dense hardwoods, pre-drilling is recommended; for softwoods a smaller pilot hole or self-drilling approach may be sufficient. Drive the screw until the head is flush with or slightly below the wood surface as required by the application. Use a matching bit or driver to prevent cam-out and to maintain screw head integrity during installation. For exposed applications, confirm compatibility of the screw surface finish with the environmental conditions.

Recommendations

Store screws in a dry environment to preserve surface protection. When working with load-bearing timber connections, follow applicable building regulations and fastening guidelines to determine required spacing, edge distance and pre-drilling practice. For outdoor or treated wood, verify corrosion resistance and consider additional protective measures if necessary.
