Τροφοδοτικό MSI MAG A500N-H 500 W ATX 24-Pin, ενεργή ψύξη, μαύρο

The MSI MAG A500N-H is a 500 W ATX power supply designed for desktop PCs. It accepts 200–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz and delivers power through a 24‑pin ATX motherboard connector. The unit is finished in black and uses an active cooling system with a 120 mm fan that operates between 500 and 1800 RPM. Its compact dimensions (140 mm width, 150 mm depth, 86 mm height) suit standard ATX builds while providing basic industrial‑level protections.

Advantages

The power supply offers a stable single‑rail design and includes multiple protection features such as over‑voltage, short‑circuit, over‑power and under‑voltage protection. Active PFC improves power factor and efficiency under varying loads. The 120 mm fan provides effective airflow within a compact ATX form factor while keeping noise and temperatures under control across typical desktop workloads.

Suitable for

• Home and office desktop PCs with standard ATX cases
• Systems requiring a reliable 500 W single‑rail PSU
• Upgrades or replacements for existing ATX power supplies
• Compact builds that accept standard ATX power supplies

When it may not be suitable

This unit is not intended for high‑end gaming rigs or workstation builds that demand peak power above 500 W or multiple high‑power graphics cards. Systems that require specialized connectors or modular cabling configurations may find this fixed‑cable ATX PSU limiting.

Key specifications

• Total output power: 500 W
• AC input voltage: 200–240 V
• AC input frequency: 50/60 Hz
• Motherboard connector: 24‑pin ATX
• Cooling: active fan, 120 mm (500–1800 RPM)
• Protection: OVP, SCP, OPP, UVP
• Form factor: ATX
• Color: Black
• Dimensions (W×D×H): 140 × 150 × 86 mm

How to use

Install the power supply into a compatible ATX case following the case manufacturer’s mounting instructions. Connect the 24‑pin ATX cable to the motherboard and attach additional peripheral connectors as required by your components. Ensure the AC mains voltage matches the indicated 200–240 V range and connect to a properly rated power source. Allow airflow around the fan intake and avoid obstructing vents to maintain cooling performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm your system’s total power draw does not exceed 500 W, including CPU and GPU peak consumption
• Check that your case supports standard ATX PSU dimensions (140 × 150 × 86 mm)
• Verify available connectors meet your motherboard and peripheral needs
• Decide if a modular PSU or higher wattage unit is required for future upgrades

Recommendations

Use this MSI MAG A500N-H in everyday desktop systems and mid‑range builds where a reliable 500 W single‑rail ATX PSU with active cooling and basic protections is sufficient. For systems with higher power requirements or advanced cable management needs, consider a higher‑wattage or modular alternative.
