Ταινία TESA 4970 15 mm x 50 m PVC λευκή

TESA 4970 15 mm x 50 m PVC White is a versatile PVC adhesive tape designed for sealing, insulating and surface protection tasks. With a 15 mm width and 50 m length, this white tape suits a range of repair and finishing jobs where a narrow, durable adhesive strip is required. The tape features a conformable PVC backing and a pressure-sensitive adhesive that provides reliable contact to many common substrates.

Advantages

The tape offers durable adhesion on a variety of materials and resists everyday wear. Its PVC backing provides flexibility for application on curved or uneven surfaces while maintaining tear resistance. The pressure-sensitive adhesive enables immediate bonding without heating or activation, and the white colour gives a discreet finish for visible joints and repairs.

Suitable for

• Sealing small gaps and seams
• Insulating electrical connections in low-voltage applications
• Protecting edges and surfaces during assembly or transport
• Temporary repairs on plastic, metal and painted surfaces
• Colour-coding and marking in workshops

Key specifications

• Material: PVC backing with pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Width: 15 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Colour: White
• Application temperature range: suitable for general indoor use
• Properties: flexible, tear-resistant, immediate adhesion

How to use

Ensure the surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, oil or loose particles before applying the tape. Measure and cut the required length, peel the backing and apply the tape with firm pressure to ensure full contact with the substrate. Smooth the tape along the surface to eliminate air pockets and improve adhesion. For best results on irregular surfaces, press the tape into contours and edges to conform to the shape.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid applying the tape to wet or contaminated surfaces. For long-term electrical insulation use, verify that the product meets the specific electrical standards required for the application; for general low-voltage insulating and protective tasks, this PVC tape is appropriate. When removing, peel back slowly at a low angle to reduce residue.
