Αντάπτορας γωνίας καθρέφτη 90° Skywatcher SW-7004 2 inch για προσοφθάλμια τηλεσκοπίου

The Skywatcher SW-7004 2-inch 90° mirror angle attachment is an optical accessory designed to change the viewing direction of a telescope by ninety degrees. It fits 2" focuser systems and accepts standard 2" eyepieces, offering an ergonomic viewing position for observations at high altitudes or when the telescope tube is pointed low. The device redirects the optical path with a right-angle mirror, enabling comfortable eye placement and helping to reduce neck strain during prolonged visual sessions.

Advantages

The mirror angle attachment provides a true 90° turn of the optical path while preserving image orientation appropriate for visual astronomy. Its 2" format supports a wide range of eyepieces, including those with larger apparent fields, and simplifies access to the eyepiece when the telescope is mounted in polar or alt-az configurations. The solid mechanical interface ensures stable positioning in the focuser and straightforward insertion and removal of eyepieces.

Suitable for

• Visual planetary observation
• Deep-sky viewing with 2" eyepieces
• Wide-field and casual stargazing
• Use with Dobsonian, refractor, and reflector telescopes that accept 2" focusers

Key specifications

• Optical redirection angle: 90°
• Barrel size: 2-inch input/output compatible with 2" eyepieces and focusers
• Optical element: right-angle mirror suitable for visual use
• Mechanical interface: standard 2" fitter dimensions for secure mounting
• Material: metal housing for mechanical stability (reflective surface is a mirror)

How to use

Insert the 2" end of the mirror attachment fully into the telescope focuser and secure it according to the focuser's locking mechanism. Place a compatible 2" eyepiece into the attachment's eyepiece holder and tighten any thumbscrews or compression rings to hold the eyepiece steady. Align the telescope as usual and focus using the focuser; the mirror attachment will redirect the optical path by 90° so that the eyepiece is positioned for comfortable viewing. If necessary, rotate the eyepiece within the holder to achieve the preferred orientation for crosshairs or reticles.

Recommendations

Use the attachment with properly matched 2" eyepieces and ensure all thumbscrews are tightened to avoid slippage. Store the unit with protective caps when not in use to keep the mirror surface clean. Avoid touching the reflective surface directly; clean only with appropriate optical cleaning materials if required.
