Σφιγκτήρας λάστιχου (Ατέρμονας κοχλίας) Gardena 7190-20

The Gardena 7190-20 Screw (Worm Gear) clamp is a durable steel hose clamp designed to secure hoses, pipes and fittings reliably. Constructed from corrosion-resistant materials and featuring a worm gear tightening mechanism, the clamp offers adjustable clamping force for a secure, leak-minimizing connection in garden watering and light plumbing tasks. Its compact profile and straightforward screw-adjust system make it easy to fit in confined spaces and to re-adjust when maintenance or replacements are required.

Advantages

The screw (worm gear) design provides precise, incremental tightening for a consistent seal without damaging hose material. Steel construction ensures mechanical strength and long-term resistance to wear, while surface treatment reduces the risk of rust in outdoor and moist environments. The clamp is compatible with a range of hose diameters and is quick to install or remove using a standard screwdriver, which makes it practical for routine garden and household maintenance.

Suitable for

• Securing garden hoses to fittings and connectors
• Fastening flexible pipes in irrigation systems
• Temporary or permanent hose repairs
• Light plumbing connections where adjustable clamping is needed

Key specifications

• Material: steel with corrosion-resistant surface treatment
• Clamping mechanism: screw-driven worm gear for adjustable tension
• Intended use: hoses and flexible pipes in garden and household applications
• Profile: compact band suitable for confined spaces
• Operation: tightened/loosened with a standard screwdriver

How to use

Choose a clamp size that matches the hose or pipe outer diameter. Slide the clamp over the hose end, push the hose onto the fitting or connector, then position the clamp so the band sits evenly over the hose material and fitting junction. Turn the screw clockwise with a suitable screwdriver until the clamp holds the hose firmly without crushing it; if needed, back off slightly to prevent damage to softer hoses. For removal or adjustment, turn the screw counterclockwise until the band loosens enough to slide off.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect clamps used outdoors or in humid environments for signs of corrosion or loosening. Recheck tightness after initial use and after temperature or pressure changes in the system. Replace clamps that show excessive wear or deformation to maintain leak-free connections.
