Σετ Pigtail SC/APC Extralink G.657A1 1,5 m 12 τεμ. 12 χρώματα

Pigtails set with 12 SC/APC connectors from Extralink, manufactured on single-mode G.657A1 fiber and 1.5 m length per pigtail. The G.657A1 fibre has a reduced bending radius while maintaining low attenuation, which makes these pigtails suitable for FTTH/FTTx installations where space is limited and many directional changes occur. The set uses 900 µm buffered fiber and comes in 12 colours for straightforward identification of individual strands.

Advantages

The Extralink pigtails provide reliable single-mode SC/APC terminations on G.657A1 fibre that tolerates tight bends without increased loss. Colour-coded jackets simplify identification and organization in distribution boxes and client outlets. Standard 1.5 m length and 900 µm construction ensure compatibility with common splicing and patching workflows.

Suitable for

• FTTH/FTTx subscriber terminations
• Patch panels and distribution boxes in compact cabinets
• Connections to splitters and optical distribution frames
• Fiber splicing and repair where color coding is required

How to use

Prepare the fiber ends according to standard splicing or termination procedures. Route each 900 µm buffered pigtail from the splice tray or distribution box to the SC/APC adapter panel or socket. Perform fusion splicing or mechanical splicing between the incoming fiber and the pigtail. Once spliced, secure excess fiber in the tray and connect the SC/APC connectors to the corresponding adapters, observing the colour code for correct channel identification.

Recommendations

Handle fibres with appropriate ESD precautions and follow industry best practices for cleaning SC/APC endfaces before making connections. Avoid bending beyond the specified minimum radius for G.657A1 fibre and secure pigtails to prevent microbending or strain on splices.
