The EFB Elektronik Cage Nut Pack M6 Zinc Metal Housing contains a complete set of hardware for mounting equipment in server racks and cabinets. Made from zinc-coated metal components, the kit is intended to provide a durable and reliable fastening solution for IT and electronics installations. The pack includes captive cage nuts, plastic washers and pan-head screws sized for M6 threads to fit standard mounting rails.

Advantages

This set combines zinc-coated metal cage nuts, plastic M6 washers and matching pan-head M6 screws to ensure consistent fit and corrosion resistance in rack-mounted environments. The inclusion of captive nuts simplifies installation and reduces the risk of lost fasteners, while the standardized M6 dimensions make the kit compatible with common rack rails and equipment.

Suitable for

• Mounting servers, switches and patch panels in 19" racks
• Securing equipment inside network cabinets and enclosures
• General electronic and IT infrastructure fastening tasks requiring M6 hardware

Key specifications

Use the correct torque for M6 fasteners to avoid damage to the threads or rack rail.

Recommendations

Store the zinc-coated components in a dry environment to maintain corrosion protection. For repeated installations, inspect the threads and replace any damaged nuts, washers or screws to ensure reliable mounting. Select the 20 or 50 pack size according to the number of mounting points required.
