Σέλα ποδηλάτου Wittkop Medicus PROevo 7.0 — εργονομικός σχεδιασμός άνεσης MTB

Wittkop Medicus PROevo 7.0 — ergonomic MTB comfort design is a bicycle saddle developed to provide improved anatomical support and pressure relief during mountain biking, commuting and recreational rides. The saddle combines a comfort-oriented profile with an ergonomic shape to promote a more stable seating position and reduce localized pressure on soft tissues, making it suitable for longer rides and varied terrain.

Advantages

The saddle offers an ergonomically contoured surface that helps distribute rider weight more evenly across the sit bones, reducing discomfort in pressure-sensitive areas. Its comfort-oriented padding balances cushioning and support to absorb vibrations and small shocks. The design encourages a neutral riding posture that can improve pedalling efficiency and reduce strain on the lower back and hips. The construction is intended for frequent use in off-road and mixed-surface cycling without compromising rider stability.

Suitable for

• Mountain biking on trails and singletrack
• Daily commuting and city rides
• Leisure cycling and weekend training
• Riders seeking enhanced comfort and anatomical support

Key specifications

• Ergonomic comfort-oriented profile designed for MTB and general cycling
• Anatomical shaping to reduce pressure on soft tissue and perineal area
• Balanced padding for shock absorption and support during longer rides
• Durable cover material suitable for outdoor use and frequent riding
• Standard saddle rail mounting compatible with most seatposts

How to use

Install the saddle using a compatible seatpost clamp and ensure the rails are correctly seated and tightened to the manufacturer's recommended torque. Adjust fore-aft position and tilt to achieve a neutral pelvis alignment and comfortable knee tracking while pedalling. Start with small adjustments: move the saddle forward or backward in 5–10 mm increments and change tilt by small angles until pressure points are minimized. Regularly inspect mounting hardware and cover for wear, and re-check saddle position after initial rides to confirm comfort and fit.

Recommendations

For best results, pair the saddle with a properly fitted bike setup — correct saddle height, handlebar reach and cleat position — and allow an adjustment period of several rides. Use appropriate cycling shorts and maintain the saddle cover and rails clean to prolong service life.
