Scarpa RAPID XT MID GTX Ελαφριά ορειβατικά παπούτσια 440g

The Scarpa RAPID XT MID GTX Lightweight Hiking Boots 440g combine a minimalist leather upper with modern protective features to deliver a lightweight, waterproof trekking boot. At approximately 440 g per shoe, these mid-cut boots integrate a GORE-TEX ePE membrane for reliable waterproofing and breathability, a reinforced perimeter TPU band and rubber toe cap for abrasion resistance, and a 3D Autofit ankle collar that offers wraparound comfort and support. The Vibram Agility XT Megagrip outsole includes a climbing zone at the toe, a rear Brake System and a 3D TPU medial insert to enhance stability and traction across varied terrain.

Advantages

The combination of leather upper with perimeter TPU reinforcement and a rubber toe cap offers durable protection without excessive weight. The GORE-TEX ePE lining ensures waterproof performance while maintaining breathability and uses a PFAS-free laminate with DWR treatment for reduced environmental impact. The Vibram Megagrip sole with 3.5 mm lugs balances sensitivity and durability for approach-style use, and the 3D Autofit collar plus Ortholite insole technology improve fit, cushioning and internal ventilation. The construction supports resoling to extend product life.

Suitable for

• Day hikes and light multi-day trekking on mixed terrain
• Mountain approaches and scrambling where grip and toe precision are needed

How to use

Select the correct size and adjust lacing to obtain a secure but comfortable fit, paying attention to heel lock and forefoot space to avoid slippage on descents. Use these boots for hiking, approaches and trekking on varied ground—rock, dirt trails and wet surfaces—relying on the Vibram Megagrip outsole for traction. After wet use, allow the boots to dry at room temperature away from direct heat; clean mud and grit from the outsole and upper before storage. Reapply a compatible water-repellent treatment as the factory DWR diminishes over time.

Recommendations

For best performance, wear technical socks and break the boots in with short walks before long treks. Inspect outsole wear periodically and arrange resoling through an authorized SCARPA service before damage becomes excessive to preserve fit and protective features.
