Scarpa Mescalito Παπούτσια Προσέγγισης - sage/γκρι Μέγεθος: 44_5

Technical approaches and scrambles demand footwear that balances climbing precision with hiking comfort—too often, shoes lean too far one way, leaving you insecure on rock or fatigued on the trail. The Scarpa Mescalito resolves this tension with a board-lasted, full-rand design that grips like a climbing shoe yet walks like a light hiker. Built on the BNN last with a water-resistant suede upper and Vibram LiteBase Megagrip outsole, it excels on via ferrata, rocky ridges, and long days where terrain shifts from dirt to slab and back.

Who is it for

Men who tackle technical approaches, scrambling routes, and via ferrata in variable conditions. It suits climbers and mountaineers who need a shoe that performs on both rock and trail without carrying a second pair. The extended lacing and TPU heel stabilizer provide a locked-in fit for edging and smearing, while the dual-density EVA midsole cushions miles of approach hiking.

Main features

• Water-resistant 1.8mm suede leather upper with stretch textile lining for durability and breathability.
• Vibram LiteBase Megagrip outsole with full rubber rand and toe cap for superior traction and protection on rock.
• Dual-density EVA midsole and Ortholite footbed deliver all-day cushioning and support.
• Extended lacing system and TPU heel stabilizer ensure a precise, secure fit for technical moves.
• Board-lasted construction on the BNN last offers torsional rigidity for edging while remaining walkable.

Tips

For best fit, pair with thin or medium-weight technical socks. The suede upper will stretch slightly with break-in; consider sizing down if between sizes. After use in wet conditions, allow shoes to air dry away from direct heat and treat with a suede protector to maintain water resistance.
