Transmit flawless 8K video and multi-channel audio across an astonishing 50-metre span with this active optical DisplayPort cable. Engineered with fibre-optic data cores, it sustains the full 32.4 Gbps bandwidth of DisplayPort 1.4 without signal degradation, making it the definitive solution for large venues, digital signage, and high-end home theatres.

Overview

The Renkforce RF-4598012 is a directional active optical cable (AOC) that converts electrical DisplayPort signals into light pulses for the long run, then back to electrical at the display. Bus-powered from the source, it requires no external power supply. The black PVC jacket protects the hybrid fibre-copper construction, while the locking DisplayPort connectors ensure a secure fit.
