QOLTEC Impulse Τροφοδοτικό LED IP45 250W 12V 20A αδιάβροχο

QOLTEC Impulse power supply LED IP45 250W 12V 20A waterproof delivers a stable 12V DC output with a maximum power of 250W and continuous current up to 20A. Engineered for LED strips and lighting modules, this impulse (switch-mode) power supply features an IP45 protection rating that resists splashes and light dust, making it suitable for indoor and semi-outdoor installations where occasional moisture or airborne particles may occur. The unit provides steady voltage regulation to minimise flicker and ensure consistent LED performance.

Advantages

The power supply offers high efficiency in a compact housing, reducing heat generation while providing reliable power to LED loads. IP45 ingress protection ensures added durability compared with non-rated models, allowing placement near windows, covered terraces, or behind protective housings. Built-in protections against short circuit, overload and overvoltage help safeguard both the power supply and connected LED fixtures. The device is designed for easy installation and stable long-term operation in typical lighting applications.

How to use

Mount the power supply on a stable surface in a ventilated location protected from direct water exposure and excessive dust. Ensure input mains wiring and grounding comply with local electrical regulations and switch off power before connecting. Connect the mains input to the power supply using appropriately rated cables and secure the 12V DC output to the LED load observing correct polarity. Verify total connected LED wattage does not exceed 250W and allow for headroom to prevent continuous overload. After connections are completed, switch on the mains and check LED operation and voltage levels.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, install the unit in locations sheltered from direct rain and with adequate airflow to dissipate heat. Avoid exceeding the rated output and distribute loads across multiple channels or power supplies for longer LED runs. Regularly inspect connections for corrosion or looseness in environments with humidity. Follow local electrical codes and, if unsure, use a qualified electrician for installation.
