Πρίζα σύνδεσης Extralink για καλώδιο Cat5e UTP, Πλαστικό, Μαύρο, 1‑Port

The Extralink connection box for Cat5e UTP cable is a compact plastic enclosure designed to house and protect a single Ethernet cable termination or splice. Intended for indoor use, the black one‑port box provides a discreet and practical solution for small network junctions, repair points or when a simple patching location is required. The unit supports Cat5e UTP cabling and offers basic mechanical protection while maintaining the cable's electrical characteristics.

Advantages

The enclosure is made from durable black plastic that resists impact and provides insulation for the cable termination. Its one‑port design keeps installations tidy and reduces clutter at the connection point. The box is lightweight, easy to handle and can be mounted in confined spaces, offering a straightforward way to protect terminations without bulkier outlet boxes. The design preserves Cat5e UTP performance by allowing proper cable organization and strain relief inside the housing.

Suitable for

• Indoor Ethernet cable junctions and single‑cable terminations
• Minor repairs and temporary or permanent patch points
• Home and small office networks using Cat5e UTP cabling
• Situations requiring a discreet, low‑profile enclosure for one cable

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Cat5e unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable
• Ports: single‑port enclosure for one cable termination
• Material: black plastic housing providing mechanical protection and insulation
• Intended use: indoor installations and junctions
• Form factor: compact, low‑profile box suitable for confined mounting locations

How to use

Prepare the Cat5e UTP cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose the conductors and perform the required termination or splice according to standard wiring practices. Place the terminated connector or splice inside the enclosure, arrange the wires to avoid sharp bends and secure any strain relief if available. Close the box to protect the connection from mechanical damage and to keep the termination tidy. Mount the box on a wall, panel or inside a cabinet using appropriate screws or adhesive, ensuring the cable entry aligns with the internal layout.

Recommendations

Use this connection box indoors and avoid exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For best results, follow Cat5e termination standards to maintain signal quality and use basic strain relief to prevent cable movement. Do not use the enclosure for shielded (STP) cable terminations that require grounding or additional shielding measures.
