MACLEAN MCE249 F/B is a compact power splitter that expands a single mains outlet into two AC sockets with different rated currents (16A and 6A) and four USB charging ports — two USB-A and two USB-C supporting Power Delivery up to 20W. The unit is intended for simultaneous powering of household or office appliances while providing fast charging for phones, tablets and accessories. Its design is suitable for use at home, in small offices or during travel where one wall outlet must serve several devices safely and efficiently.

Advantages

The splitter combines high-current and low-current AC sockets in one compact housing, allowing connection of both heavy and light appliances without additional adapters. Integrated USB-A and USB-C ports with PD 20W enable fast charging of modern devices while freeing AC sockets for other equipment. The product offers space-saving operation, straightforward installation into a standard mains outlet, and an organized charging solution that reduces the need for multiple chargers and extension cords.

Key specifications

How to use

Insert the MACLEAN MCE249 F/B into a compatible mains outlet so that the AC sockets are accessible for connected devices. Plug the AC-powered appliances into the 16A or 6A socket according to their rated current requirements. Connect phones, tablets or accessories to the USB-A or USB-C ports; devices that support USB Power Delivery will charge at up to 20W via the USB-C ports. Ensure the total connected load does not exceed the outlet and device specifications and avoid using the splitter in damp or wet locations.

Recommendations

Use the 16A socket for higher-power equipment (within device ratings) and the 6A socket for lower-power devices. Prefer USB-C PD ports for faster charging of compatible devices and use certified cables. Do not exceed the rated currents for the AC sockets and disconnect the splitter if overheating or unusual behavior is detected.
