Mount a compatible pickup cartridge using the universal SME-style headshell connection and set tracking force, anti-skate and VTA to the cartridge manufacturer’s recommendations. Use the top-panel buttons to select platter speed (33 1/3, 45 or 78 RPM), engage quartz lock as needed and adjust pitch with the digital fader or select expanded/ultra-pitch ranges for creative manipulation. Use the LCD and pad section to browse, load and trigger Serato performance modes or operate Platter Play for melodic control of platter pitch.

Recommendations

For stable performance, allow the turntable to warm up briefly after power-up before critical tempo matching. Use the adjustable torque and platter stop settings to match your preferred feel for cueing and scratching. When transporting, remove or secure the removable LED target light and disconnect detachable cables. For best audio results, fit a high-quality phono cartridge and set tracking force and anti-skate precisely; engage the integrated phono pre-amp only if your mixer or audio interface does not provide a dedicated phono input.
