Ortovox Wonderwool Beanie χειμερινό σκούφος - πράσινο βρύο

On a biting winter morning, a mountaineer pulls the Ortovox Wonderwool Beanie over their ears before stepping onto the glacier. The soft merino wool blend traps heat while wicking moisture, keeping the head dry and warm during high-output ascents. The deep green moss color blends naturally into alpine landscapes, and the snug fit stays put under a climbing helmet.

Why choose it

The Wonderwool Beanie combines the natural performance of merino wool with the resilience of polyester. Merino wool offers excellent insulation even when damp, resists odor, and feels soft against the skin. The added polyester enhances durability and helps the beanie retain its shape after repeated wear. The stretchy knit ensures a snug yet comfortable fit for a wide range of head sizes, and the dark green moss shade is versatile enough to pair with any winter outfit.

Ideal use cases

• Alpine skiing and snowboarding under a helmet
• Winter hiking and mountaineering in cold, dry conditions
• Casual everyday wear during cold weather
• Layering under a hood or helmet for extra warmth

Good to know

The beanie is not waterproof, so it is best suited for cold, dry conditions or as a base layer under a waterproof shell. Merino wool is naturally breathable and temperature-regulating, reducing the risk of overheating during active pursuits. To maintain the beanie's shape and softness, hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry.
