NITEK Παθητικός πομπός ή δέκτης δύο συρμάτων με βύσμα FBAS/BNC αρσενικό

The NITEK VB37-M is a passive video balun transceiver engineered to transmit composite video (FBAS) signals over unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable, eliminating the need for coaxial runs in CCTV installations. Its single strongest capability is extending full-color video up to 400 meters and monochrome up to 600 meters without external power, making it a cost-effective solution for large-scale surveillance systems.

Advantages

This compact device converts a 75-ohm BNC video signal to a balanced 100-ohm UTP signal, dramatically reducing cable costs and simplifying installation. Built-in surge and ESD protection safeguard connected equipment from transient voltage spikes. The high-impact ABS housing ensures durability in demanding environments, while the screw terminal connection provides a secure, tool-free link to Cat5e/Cat6 cables.

Suitable for

• Retrofitting analog CCTV systems where coaxial cable is impractical
• Multi-camera installations in commercial buildings, warehouses, and parking facilities
• Transmitting video from remote locations to a central monitoring station
• Integrating with DVRs, matrix switchers, and video multiplexers

Key specifications

• Signal type: Composite video (FBAS) with BNC male connector
• UTP connection: 2-wire screw terminal (passive, no power required)
• Maximum distance: 400 m (color) / 600 m (B/W) over Cat5e or better
• Impedance: 75 ohm (coax) to 100 ohm (UTP)
• Frequency response: 0–6 MHz with CMRR >60 dB
• Operating temperature: -10°C to 50°C; humidity 0–95% non-condensing
• Housing material: High-impact ABS plastic
• Supports NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video formats

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use solid-core Cat5e or Cat6 UTP cable and ensure proper grounding at both ends. Pair with a compatible passive receiver or use two VB37-M units back-to-back for point-to-point video extension. Ideal for installers seeking a reliable, maintenance-free video transmission solution.
