Μη διαχειριζόμενος switch Cudy GS1008PS2 Gigabit Ethernet 8 θυρών PoE

The Cudy GS1008PS2 Unmanaged Switch is an 8‑port Gigabit Ethernet PoE switch designed to expand wired networks where simple, reliable connectivity and Power over Ethernet are required. With eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ‑45 ports, a switching capacity of 20 Gbit/s and a MAC address table supporting up to 2000 entries, this compact black switch supports IEEE 802.3 family standards including 802.3af and 802.3at for PoE devices. It offers a total PoE budget of 120 W with up to 30 W available on a single port, and supports wall, rack or desktop installation for flexible deployment in homes, offices or small business sites.

Advantages

The device provides plug‑and‑play unmanaged operation that requires no configuration, simplifying installation and daily use. PoE capability delivers power and data over a single cable, reducing wiring complexity for IP cameras, Wi‑Fi access points and VoIP phones. The built‑in PoE watchdog monitors remote devices and automatically restarts a faulty endpoint to maintain service continuity. Compliance with common IEEE standards ensures interoperability with a wide range of network equipment.

Suitable for

• Powering and connecting IP surveillance cameras
• Supplying PoE to Wi‑Fi access points to extend wireless coverage
• Connecting VoIP phones and small office telephony systems
• Expanding Ethernet ports for small office or home networks
• Deployments requiring wall, rack or desktop mounting

How to use

Place the switch on a desktop, mount it to a wall or install it in a rack according to available mounting accessories. Connect the switch to your network core or router using one of the Gigabit ports, then connect PoE‑powered devices such as IP cameras, Wi‑Fi access points or VoIP phones to the remaining ports using Cat5e or better cables. The unmanaged switch is plug‑and‑play: it will auto‑negotiate link speed and duplex and auto‑detect PoE devices to supply power without additional configuration. Ensure the total PoE consumption of connected devices does not exceed the 120 W budget and that any single device drawing near 30 W is connected to a port intended for higher PoE output.

Recommendations

The PoE watchdog helps keep critical devices online by restarting unresponsive endpoints; place surveillance cameras and access points on ports monitored by the switch and plan power allocation to avoid exceeding the total 120 W budget. Use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables and allow adequate ventilation around the unit to maintain stable operation.
