The Intermec Duratran™ II is a stocked, coated thermal-transfer paper label designed for reliable, high-quality printing when used with a compatible ribbon. These 4x6" color/floodcoated paper labels are available from stock in yellow, green, blue, pink, and red. The labels use a permanent, glove-friendly adhesive and are recommended for applications where moderate abrasion, heat, or sunlight exposure may occur. Special adhesives can be provided on custom orders.

Advantages

Duratran II labels deliver excellent print quality with an appropriate thermal-transfer ribbon and offer a durable coated surface that resists moderate abrasion and environmental stress. The permanent, glove-friendly adhesive ensures secure attachment on many surfaces, while stocked color options facilitate visual coding without the need for additional printing. Custom adhesive options are available for specific application requirements.

Suitable for

• Product and inventory labeling that requires color coding
• Environments with moderate abrasion, heat, or sun exposure
• Applications where glove-friendly permanent adhesion is needed
• Batch labeling and logistics where 4x6" format is standard

Key specifications

• Material: Coated thermal-transfer paper
• Size: 4 x 6 inches
• Color options: Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, Red (floodcoated)
• Adhesive: Permanent, glove-friendly (special adhesives available on request)

How to use

Use these Duratran II labels with a compatible thermal-transfer ribbon (select ribbon type according to substrate and durability needs) and a printer set for paper label media. Load the 4x6" labels into the printer, verify print alignment and ribbon compatibility, then print at the recommended print speed and temperature for best results. Allow printed labels to cure briefly if heavy ink density is used before handling or applying to items.

Recommendations

For optimal print quality and longevity, pair Duratran II labels with a high-quality thermal-transfer ribbon matched to the label coating. Choose special adhesives for nonstandard surfaces or harsher environments, and test label/ribbon combinations before large production runs.
