The Intermec Duratran™ II is a stocked, coated thermal-transfer paper label designed for use with the appropriate ribbon. The label features a permanent, glove-friendly adhesive and is recommended for applications where moderate abrasion, heat, or sunlight may occur. Special adhesives can be supplied on custom orders.

Advantages

Duratran II labels provide excellent print quality when paired with a compatible wax or thermal ribbon such as the Honeywell I90481-0 (100 m, 7.7 cm, wax). The coated paper facestock improves image sharpness and durability while the permanent glove-friendly adhesive ensures reliable attachment to many surfaces. Floodcoated color options improve visibility and aid in simple visual identification.

Recommendations

For best results, use a wax or wax-resin ribbon compatible with coated paper facestock and the Honeywell I90481-0 (100 m, 7.7 cm) is an appropriate example. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and strong solvents; specify special adhesives for challenging surfaces when ordering.
