LevelOne 18dBi 2.4GHz κατευθυντική κεραία panel, εσωτερικού/εξωτερικού χώρου

The LevelOne WAN-2182 is a directional antenna designed for IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless applications in the 2.4 GHz frequency band. It provides an 18 dBi gain with an N-type connector and 50 Ohm impedance, improving point-to-point coverage and reducing interference. The antenna is suitable for indoor or outdoor mounting and features a weatherproof housing rated to operate between -30°C and 60°C, resisting rain, snow, dust and other harsh conditions.

Advantages

The antenna delivers 18 dBi directional operation to extend point-to-point coverage and enhance signal strength. It is optimized for 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n networks, has low wind loading for stable outdoor performance, and supports operation across a wide temperature range. The device presents a 50 Ohm impedance and a VSWR up to 2.0, and its construction keeps weight and wind resistance low for reliable mounting.

Suitable for

• Point-to-point wireless links at 2.4 GHz
• Long-range Wi‑Fi coverage extensions
• Indoor or outdoor installations requiring directional gain
• Wireless setups needing N-type connector compatibility

How to use

Mount the LevelOne WAN-2182 on a stable mast or bracket oriented toward the target access point or receiver to form a directional point-to-point link. Use coaxial cable with matching 50 Ohm impedance and an appropriate N-type connector to attach the antenna to your radio or access point. For outdoor installations, ensure all cable connections are weather-sealed and the mounting hardware is tightened to manufacturer torque recommendations. Align the antenna precisely and verify signal strength; fine adjustments may be needed for optimal throughput.

Recommendations

For best results, install the antenna elevated and clear of large obstructions, keep line-of-sight where possible, and verify regulatory limits for transmit power in the 2.4 GHz band. Regularly inspect outdoor seals and mounting hardware; in high-wind locations consider additional reinforcement of the mast.
