Kathrein EMU 21 Μπλοκ γείωσης F 1 θέσης

With a shielding effectiveness exceeding 100 dB and a surge current capability of 2.5 kA (8/20 µs), the Kathrein EMU 21 F-Grounding Block delivers robust potential equalization and lightning protection for coaxial cable runs in satellite and broadband installations.

Overview

The EMU 21 is a single-port F-type grounding block engineered to safely divert surge currents to ground while maintaining signal integrity across a wide 5–2400 MHz frequency range. Its die-cast zinc housing and screw terminal for conductors up to 6 mm² ensure a durable, low-impedance bond in both indoor and outdoor environments.

What stands out

• High surge handling: 2.5 kA (8/20 µs) for reliable lightning protection.
• Broadband performance: 5–2400 MHz with insertion loss under 0.5 dB and return loss better than 18 dB.
• DC pass-through allows remote powering of LNBs and line amplifiers.
• Robust die-cast zinc body with screw mounting for secure installation.
• 75 Ohm impedance matches standard coaxial systems.
