Καλώδιο Patch Extralink SC/APC-SC/APC Στρογγυλό Drop Single-Mode Simplex G.657A2 70m

Extralink Patchcord SC/APC-SC/APC Round drop Single mode Simplex G.657A2 70m is a 70-meter single-mode simplex patchcord with G.657A2 fiber and SC/APC connectors on both ends. It is designed for optical networking connections in FTTH deployments and links between optical devices such as switches, media converters, OLT and ONU/ONT equipment.

Advantages

The SC/APC-SC/APC patchcord uses G.657A2 fiber, providing improved bend resistance and stable single-mode transmission. With a 3 mm round cable diameter and simplex termination, the 70 m length simplifies long indoor or building-to-dwelling runs without splicing. Factory-terminated SC/APC connectors ensure consistent insertion loss and convenient plug-and-play installation.

Suitable for

• FTTH connections between OLT and ONU/ONT
• Patch panels and optical switches
• Connecting media converters and other optical network equipment
• Indoor horizontal cabling and drop runs to premises

Key specifications

• Fiber type: single-mode G.657A2
• Connector type: SC/APC to SC/APC (simplex)
• Length: 70 m
• Cable diameter: 3 mm (round)
• Form factor: simplex patchcord
• Brand/Model: Extralink, MPN EX.13384, EAN 5903148913384

How to use

Route the patchcord from the source device to the destination device avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Insert the SC/APC connectors into matching SC/APC ports until they click. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to minimise insertion loss. Use cable ties or cable management channels to secure the 3 mm cable and maintain bend radius compatible with G.657A2 specifications.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean SC/APC end faces before each installation, avoid bending below the recommended radius for G.657A2, and store the patchcord loosely coiled to prevent kinks. For outdoor or exposed runs, use appropriate protective conduit or rated cables.
