Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O6013.5 5 m ST πορτοκαλί

The EFB Elektronik O6013.5 is a 5 m OM2 fibre optic cable with ST connectors on both ends, designed for reliable full-duplex data transmission in structured cabling. With a 50 µm core diameter and an orange jacket for easy identification, this cable is suitable for network backbones, patching and connections between active devices in commercial and industrial installations.

Advantages

The OM2 multimode construction with 50 µm core supports high-speed short- to medium-range links and ensures compatibility with common multimode transceivers. ST connectors on both ends provide secure, bayonet-style mating for stable optical connections. The 5 m length and bright orange sheath simplify cable management and visibility during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and fibre patching in data centres and wiring closets
• Connecting switches, transceivers and fibre network equipment
• Short- to medium-distance multimode links within buildings

How to use

Route the fibre cable between the two devices or patch panels ensuring bend radius is respected and connectors remain clean. Insert ST connectors into the corresponding ST ports and secure with the bayonet coupling. Verify link using appropriate optical transceivers or test equipment and label both ends for future identification.

Recommendations

Handle the fibre connectors carefully: always keep end faces clean and protected with dust caps when not connected, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force, and store the cable coiled without tight loops to maintain optical performance.
