Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0947.2 2 m LC SC κίτρινο

The EFB Elektronik O0947.2 is a 2 m OS2 fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors and a 9 µm core diameter. It serves as a short connection between a passive interface and an active device port in structured cabling installations, providing low attenuation and suitability for high-speed data transmission. The cable's yellow jacket helps with quick identification and neat cable management in racks and network closets.

Advantages

This fibre optic jumper offers a standardized connection consistent with ISO/IEC 11801 structured cabling guidelines. The use of OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core minimizes signal loss over typical patch lengths, while the LC and SC connector combination ensures compatibility with a wide range of network equipment. The 2 m length provides flexibility for short patching runs without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• Short-distance interconnection between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Data centre and server rack cable management
• Telecommunications closets and backbone patching
• Fiber optic test setups and lab environments

How to use

Connect the LC end to the device or transceiver with an LC port and the SC end to the passive interface or patch panel with an SC adapter. Ensure connectors are clean before insertion to avoid signal degradation. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sharp edges; maintain bend radii recommended for single-mode fibre and secure the cable within cable management hardware to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean connectors with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before each connection. Use this 2 m LC–SC OS2 jumper for short patching runs; for longer distances select appropriate single-mode trunk or deploy additional rated links according to ISO/IEC 11801 link class requirements.
