Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0330.15 15 m LC πορτοκαλί

The EFB Elektronik O0330.15 15 m LC Orange is an OM1 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a core diameter of 62.5 µm. Designed for full-duplex communication, this 15-metre fibre patch lead supports reliable short-range high-speed data links within network racks, patch panels and horizontal cabling. The bright orange jacket provides clear visual identification for network technicians and simplifies cable management in dense installations.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers consistent multimode performance suitable for common enterprise and telecom applications where OM1 specifications are acceptable. The LC connectors provide a compact form factor allowing high port density in switches and patch panels. The 62.5 µm core ensures compatibility with legacy multimode transceivers and short-distance links. The 15 m length balances reach and manageability for connections between cabinets and equipment within a data room.

Suitable for

• Short-range data links between switches, patch panels and servers
• Horizontal cabling within wiring closets and server rooms
• Connections to multimode transceivers and legacy optical equipment
• Environments requiring visually distinct cabling for identification and routing

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM1 multimode
• Core diameter: 62.5 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Length: 15 m
• Jacket colour: Orange
• Transmission mode: Full duplex

How to use

Route the fibre cable along cable trays or within cable management channels to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. Insert the LC connectors into matching LC ports on networking equipment or patch panels until they click into place, ensuring correct alignment for transmit and receive channels. Avoid touching the connector endfaces and, if necessary, clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before making connections. When disconnecting, press the LC latch and withdraw straight out to prevent damage to the ferrule.

Recommendations

For best performance, maintain bend radii above the manufacturer's minimum and protect the cable from crushing or repeated flexing. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and store spare cables coiled loosely to prevent microbends. Verify compatibility with multimode transceivers and consider OM2/OM3/OM4 alternatives for longer runs or higher bandwidth requirements.
