Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0312.2-1.2 LC OM3 2 m τυρκουάζ

The EFB Elektronik O0312.2-1.2 LC OM3 2 m Turquoise is a 2 metre multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for InfiniBand and high-speed network interconnects. It uses OM3-grade 50 µm core multimode fibre and LC connectors on both ends to provide low-loss, high-bandwidth connections in server rooms, switches, storage arrays and active networking equipment. The turquoise jacket and compact LC terminations provide a neat, industry-standard solution for short-distance optical links.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable delivers predictable performance for 10/25/40/100 Gbps multimode links and supports the tighter bend radii and insertion loss characteristics expected in data centre environments. Dual LC connectors enable easy mating with LC ports and transceivers. The 2 m length offers a balance between reach and cable management convenience, while the coloured jacket simplifies identification in dense cabling installations.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand host channel adapter to switch connections
• Short-range multimode links in data centres and server rooms
• Patch-panel to transceiver or active device connections
• Equipment racks where colour-coded cabling is used for organisation

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode, 50 µm core diameter
• Connector type: LC to LC on both ends
• Length: 2 metres
• Jacket colour: Turquoise
• Application: Multimode high-speed network links (InfiniBand and Ethernet)

How to use

Route the cable between two LC-compatible ports, taking care to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC duplex adapter or transceiver port until the latch clicks, ensuring correct polarity if required by the link. For best optical performance, keep connector end faces clean and use an appropriate fibre cleaning tool or inspection microscope before making the connection. If rerouting, unclip gently from cable management trays to avoid damaging the jacket or fibre.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM3 fibre cable in a dry, dust-free environment. Maintain minimum bend radius recommendations from typical multimode fibre standards and avoid repeated flexing near connectorised ends. Use colour-coded identification practices within racks to simplify maintenance and ensure compatibility with LC transceivers and InfiniBand-enabled equipment.
