Καλώδιο μετατροπέα USB-A σε σειριακό Manhattan 205146

USB to Serial Converter cable, 45 cm, Serial/RS232/COM/DB9 with Prolific PL-2303RA chipset in a black/silver design. The Manhattan 205146 cable converts a USB-A port into a standard DB9 serial port to connect legacy and modern devices that require RS232/COM connectivity.

Advantages

The cable quickly converts a USB port to a Serial/RS232/COM/DB9 port and uses the Prolific PL-2303RA chipset for broad OS and platform compatibility. It supports connection of a wide range of devices including modems, barcode scanners, GPS units, CNC and embroidery machines, telescopes, automotive control systems and more. The product installs as a standard COM/RS-232 port, is Windows-compatible, plug-and-play and hot-swappable. Gold-plated contacts and rugged construction provide reliable, consistent performance. A three-year warranty is provided.

Suitable for

• Connecting legacy RS232/DB9 peripherals to modern laptops and desktops
• Linking barcode scanners, label printers and card readers
• Connecting GPS units, modems and serial cameras
• Integrating CNC machines, telescopes and embroidery machines with PCs
• Automotive diagnostics and control systems that use serial interfaces

How to use

Connect the USB-A end to an available USB port on your computer and plug the DB9 connector into the serial device. Install drivers if required by your operating system; on many Windows systems the cable will be recognized automatically and appear as a COM port. After installation, configure the device software to use the assigned COM port and matching communication parameters (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits).

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use a direct USB port on the computer rather than an unpowered USB hub; verify driver compatibility for your OS and select the PL-2303RA driver when needed. Keep cable length short to reduce signal degradation and ensure secure screw connections on the DB9 connector.
