Φωτιστικό οροφής με αισθητήρα STEINEL Dual HF Wireless λευκό IP20

The STEINEL Dual HF Wireless Ceiling Sensor Light is a compact indoor corridor sensor designed for reliable presence detection in passageways and long corridors at installation heights up to 3.5 m. The device integrates two high-frequency sensors arranged to cover both walking directions along a corridor, achieving coverage of around 20 metres in the walking direction while limiting tangential reach to avoid false detections from adjacent rooms or behind closed doors. The unit supports DALI-2 input device communication for transferring collected sensor data to higher-level lighting management systems and operates on DC power (12–22.5 V).

Advantages

The Dual HF design provides dual-direction detection with reduced blind spots and precise corridor coverage. High-frequency sensor technology ensures sensitive and reliable motion detection, while the limited tangential reach prevents unwanted triggering from neighbouring spaces. Wireless connectivity simplifies installation and integration, and DALI-2 compatibility enables communication of sensor data to building lighting control systems. Compact form factor and IP20 rating suit a variety of indoor ceiling mounting situations.

Suitable for

• Indoor corridors and passageways
• Long hallways in offices, hotels or apartment buildings
• Ceiling-mounted detection in stairwell landings and connecting corridors

Key specifications

• Brand: Steinel
• Model: Dual HF Wireless (MPN 057459, EAN 4007841057459)
• Mounting: Ceiling
• Installation height: up to 3.5 m
• Detection range: approx. 20 m in walking direction (two-sensor coverage)
• Technology: High-frequency (HF) presence detection
• Communication: DALI-2 input device compatible
• Power: DC 12–22.5 V
• Protection class: IP20 (indoor use)

How to use

Install the sensor on the ceiling at the desired location following the manufacturer’s installation instructions and ensuring a mounting height up to 3.5 m. Orient the unit so the two HF sensors face along the corridor to cover both walking directions. Connect the device to the DC power supply (12–22.5 V) and integrate it into the lighting system via the DALI-2 interface if required. After powering up, verify detection across the corridor length and adjust placement if necessary to avoid dead zones.

Recommendations

Mount at the centreline of the corridor and avoid pointing the sensor directly at open doors or large glass surfaces. Use the DALI-2 interface to forward sensor data to central lighting control for optimized energy management and scene control.
