The CRSA-MSR-R1 combines robust construction with universal compatibility. Its high-coercivity magnetic head reads both Hi-Co and Lo-Co cards, ensuring accurate data capture for credit cards, loyalty cards, and ID badges. The USB HID interface means no special drivers are needed—just plug it in and start swiping. The long head life and bi-directional reading reduce errors and downtime, making it a dependable choice for high-volume environments.

Ideal use cases

• Retail point-of-sale systems for credit/debit card payments
• Bank teller stations for account verification
• Loyalty program enrollment and check-in kiosks
• Access control systems using magnetic stripe badges
• Healthcare patient ID verification

Good to know

The reader is powered entirely by the USB port, eliminating the need for an external power supply. The LED indicator confirms successful reads at a glance. For fixed installations, an optional mounting bracket can secure the reader to a counter or wall. The configurable data output format allows integration with legacy software that expects specific keystroke sequences.
