Dahua Technology DH-CS4010-8ET-60 Διακόπτης δικτύου Managed L2 Fast Ethernet (10/100) Power over Ethernet (PoE) Μαύρο

The DAHUA Type L2 desktop PoE switch is a compact 8-port Ethernet switch with integrated Power over Ethernet designed for small networks. Intended for desktop or pedestal placement, the unit provides eight wired Ethernet connections with PoE support to power and connect devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones. The switch delivers a simple, space-saving solution for small offices, retail environments and residential installations that require reliable wired performance and centralized power delivery to edge devices.

Advantages

This 8-port PoE switch combines network connectivity and power distribution in a single compact enclosure. Integrated PoE reduces cabling complexity by delivering power and data over the same Cat5e/Cat6 cable, simplifying installation of networked devices. The desktop design makes the unit easy to place and service, while the full set of Ethernet ports supports straightforward expansion of a small network without additional power adapters for each powered device. The switch is suitable for continuous operation in everyday network environments and supports common PoE use cases for surveillance and access systems.

Suitable for

• Small office networks requiring PoE for IP phones and wireless access points
• Retail and point-of-sale locations with IP cameras and networked peripherals
• Residential installations needing wired connectivity and PoE for home security cameras
• Temporary or branch deployments where compact, desktop PoE switching is preferred

Key specifications

• Form factor: desktop / pedestal
• Ports: 8 x 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports with PoE support
• PoE capability: integrated Power over Ethernet on supported ports to power compatible devices
• Power delivery: centralized power supply through Ethernet cabling (total PoE budget depends on model and power supply)
• Performance: wired switching for small network segments with gigabit-capable ports
• Mounting: free-standing desktop placement

How to use

Place the switch on a stable desktop or pedestal near network devices and an AC mains outlet. Connect each network device using standard Ethernet cables (Cat5e or Cat6). Devices that support PoE will receive power and data over the same cable when connected to PoE-enabled ports; non-PoE devices will operate as standard Ethernet endpoints. Connect the switch’s uplink port to an existing router or network backbone to provide internet access and broader network routing. Power the unit from the included AC adapter or integrated power input according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and verify link/activity LEDs to confirm proper connectivity.

Recommendations

Use good-quality Ethernet cables (Cat5e or Cat6) and observe device power requirements to avoid exceeding the switch’s total PoE power budget. Place the switch in a ventilated area away from heat sources and excessive moisture. For surveillance installations, connect cameras to the PoE ports closest to the power source to minimize cable runs and simplify cable management. When integrating with larger networks, ensure the switch’s uplink is connected to a managed router or core switch that provides appropriate IP addressing and network segmentation.
