Cisco 2-Port Network Interface Module BRI (NT και TE) - VWIC ISDN S/T Interface Card

The Cisco 2-Port Network Interface Module BRI (NT and TE) is a high-performance Voice/WAN Interface Card (VWIC) engineered to deliver reliable ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI) connectivity for Cisco Integrated Services Routers. With two S/T interface ports and support for both NT and TE operating modes, this module provides flexible, cost-effective WAN and voice solutions for branch offices and enterprise deployments.

Advantages

This interface module enables simultaneous voice and data transmission over ISDN lines, offering up to 128 kbps per B-channel for efficient bandwidth utilization. Its dual-mode NT/TE capability ensures compatibility with various service provider configurations, simplifying network design and reducing hardware inventory. The plug-in form factor integrates seamlessly into Cisco ISR G1/G2 routers, making it an ideal choice for expanding connectivity without additional chassis space.

Suitable for

• Branch office connectivity requiring ISDN BRI WAN links
• Voice over IP (VoIP) and legacy voice services
• Dial-up access and backup WAN connections
• Video conferencing and fax transmission over ISDN
