Προστασία υπέρτασης Cambium C000000L033B 56V Gigabit inline προστασία

The Cambium C000000L033B 56V Gigabit inline protector is a surge suppressor designed for Gigabit Ethernet links and network equipment operating at 56 volts. It provides inline protection against transient voltage spikes and lightning-induced surges, helping to reduce the risk of damage to connected devices and maintain link availability. The unit is suitable for both outdoor and indoor deployments where a compact protector is required in the data path without altering Gigabit signal integrity.

Advantages

This 56V surge suppressor features a compact inline form factor that installs directly into copper Gigabit Ethernet runs. It is engineered to protect powered network equipment operating at 56 volts by clamping overvoltage events and diverting surge energy away from sensitive electronics. Compatibility with Gigabit signaling is maintained to avoid throughput degradation, and the device is suitable for straightforward installations in existing links.

Suitable for

• Protecting outdoor wireless backhaul and point-to-point radio Ethernet feeds operating at 56V
• Inline protection for indoor or rooftop Ethernet runs where surge exposure is possible
• Locations where maintaining Gigabit throughput and low latency is required
• Network links requiring straightforward, compact surge protection without major reconfiguration

When it may not be suitable

This protector is intended for networks using 56V power and Gigabit copper Ethernet; it is not suitable for systems that require protection at substantially different voltages or for fiber-only links. It does not replace full-site lightning protection or grounding systems and should not be relied upon as the sole protective measure in areas with extreme lightning activity.

Key specifications

• Nominal operating voltage: 56 V
• Application: Inline Gigabit Ethernet surge protection
• Form factor: Inline protector for copper Ethernet cabling
• Intended environment: Indoor and outdoor network links
• Signal support: Designed to preserve Gigabit Ethernet performance

How to use

Install the surge suppressor inline in the Ethernet cable run between the network device and the Ethernet source, following standard cabling and grounding practices. Ensure cable connectors are secure and the protector is placed at the point where the cable enters the protected equipment or where surge exposure is most likely. Verify link status after installation and periodically inspect the protector and surrounding cabling for physical damage or corrosion.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm the network uses 56V power and that a copper Gigabit Ethernet connection is present.
• Assess the expected level of surge exposure and whether additional site grounding or larger-scale lightning protection is required.
• Determine the best mounting location in the cable run for effective protection and easy inspection.

Recommendations

For reliable protection, combine the inline surge suppressor with correct grounding of the installation and follow manufacturer installation guidelines. Use the protector at points of entry for outdoor cables and near powered equipment to reduce the risk of surge damage while preserving Gigabit link performance.
