Bosch GCB 18V-63 Professional φορητό πριόνι μπάντας 162 m/min μπαταρία

The Portable Bandsaw Bosch GCB 18V-63 Professional is a compact cordless band saw designed for portable cutting of metal, plastics and aluminium profiles. Powered by an 18V lithium-ion battery, the tool delivers a maximum idle blade speed of 162 m/min and a cutting capacity of 63.5 mm. The saw body measures 355 mm wide, 200 mm deep and 255 mm high, and uses a 733 mm long blade with a width of 12.7 mm and thickness of 0.4 mm. The design emphasises ergonomic handling, ease of blade changes and visibility of the work area with an integrated LED light.

Advantages

The GCB 18V-63 offers cordless portability without sacrificing cutting performance, providing vibration-reduced blade action for improved control and comfort during prolonged use. Tool-free blade change via a blade tension release and a protective guard with metal clips reduces downtime and simplifies maintenance. A compact footprint allows access in confined spaces, while the safety on/off trigger switch enhances operational safety. The LED work light improves accuracy in low-light conditions.

Suitable for

• Cutting metal bars, tubes and profiles to length
• Trimming plastic pipes and conduits
• On-site aluminium profile cutting and fitting
• Maintenance and repair tasks requiring portable metal cutting

How to use

Secure the workpiece firmly in a vice or suitable clamp and ensure the cutting line is clearly marked. Install a compatible 733 mm blade following the tool-free blade change procedure: open the blade guard and release blade tension, fit the blade, restore tension and check blade alignment. Fit an appropriately charged 18V lithium-ion battery before switching on. Position the saw against the workpiece and apply steady, even feed pressure to allow the blade to cut without forcing. Use the integrated LED when required to illuminate the cut. After use, switch off the tool, remove the battery and store the saw and blade according to safety and manufacturer instructions.

Recommendations

Use blades matched to the material type for optimal life and cut quality; fine-toothed blades for thin-walled tubes and aluminium, and coarser blades for thicker steel sections. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. Regularly inspect blade condition and tension, and keep the blade guard and guide areas free of swarf and debris to maintain performance.
