The Bosch polishing disc with a diameter of 12.8 cm in grey is designed for polishing and finishing applications on a variety of materials. Made to be compatible with Bosch rotary tools, this accessory provides a uniform contact surface and is suitable for restoring shine, removing light surface imperfections, and producing a smooth final finish. The disc's dimensions and construction suit tasks that require controlled material removal and consistent surface appearance.

Advantages

The polishing disc offers an even polishing surface that helps achieve consistent results across the treated area. Its 12.8 cm diameter covers a moderate working area, balancing efficiency and control. The grey material is formulated to deliver fine polishing action while maintaining durability during repeated use with compatible rotary tools. The disc is easy to mount and replace, supporting steady operation during extended polishing tasks.

Key specifications

• Diameter: 12.8 cm
• Color: grey
• Application: polishing and finishing
• Compatibility: designed for use with Bosch rotary tools and similar interfaces
• Typical materials: metal, paint, lacquer, wood, plastic

How to use

Attach the polishing disc securely to the rotary tool according to the tool manufacturer's mounting instructions. Start polishing at low to moderate speed to assess material removal and surface response, gradually increasing speed if needed while maintaining steady, even pressure. Move the disc across the surface in overlapping passes to avoid uneven spots. Clean the disc and the workpiece periodically to prevent debris buildup and to monitor progress. Replace the disc when its polishing performance visibly decreases or when wear affects the contact surface.

Recommendations

For best results, use appropriate safety equipment such as eye protection, gloves, and dust extraction when polishing. Test the disc on a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding to larger surfaces to confirm compatibility with the material and finish. Match polishing technique and speed to the workpiece to prevent overheating or surface damage.
