BlueWalker Powerwalker AS/400 Card 3 - Μονάδα παρακολούθησης UPS

Standard UPS communication cards often fall short in IT environments that depend on IBM AS/400 (iSeries) systems. The BlueWalker Powerwalker AS/400 Card 3 bridges that gap by translating UPS status into the native AS/400 signalling protocol, ensuring critical midrange systems shut down gracefully during extended outages. Unlike generic USB or SNMP solutions, this module connects directly to the AS/400's UPS port, delivering the exact contact-closure signals the system expects—no drivers, no software, no compatibility guesswork.

Highlights

• Direct AS/400 integration via dedicated UPS port
• Reliable relay-based signalling for power status
• Plug-and-play operation with no software required
• Compact design fits standard UPS accessory slots
• Built to BlueWalker's proven Powerwalker quality standards

In daily use

Once installed, the AS/400 Card 3 continuously monitors the UPS for critical events such as on-battery operation and low-battery conditions. The moment utility power fails, it asserts the appropriate signals to the AS/400, triggering an orderly shutdown of the operating system and applications. This protects data integrity and prevents file system corruption that can occur when the system loses power abruptly. The card operates transparently, requiring no configuration or ongoing maintenance, making it a set-and-forget safeguard for your most important business systems.
