Φίλτρο κάμερας υπεριώδους (UV) B+W BASIC 010 40,5 mm Μαύρο

The B+W BASIC 010 Ultraviolet (UV) camera filter 40.5 mm Black reduces atmospheric haze and improves image clarity by blocking ultraviolet light. Designed for lenses with a 40.5 mm filter thread, this slim black metal-ring filter also protects the front element from dust, moisture and minor contact. The neutral optical behavior preserves color balance while reducing bluish cast in bright outdoor and high-altitude shooting conditions.

Advantages

The filter offers consistent UV attenuation across the visible spectrum without altering exposure settings, providing clearer distant detail and reduced blue cast in landscapes and outdoor portraits. Its compact 40.5 mm size fits a range of small-diameter lenses, and the black metal frame provides durable protection and a low-profile fit that minimizes vignetting on compatible lenses.

Key specifications

• Filter type: Ultraviolet (UV) filter
• Filter diameter: 40.5 mm
• Frame color and material: Black metal frame
• Optical effect: UV light attenuation; preserves visible color balance
• Mount style: Screw-in threaded filter

How to use

Screw the filter gently onto the lens front with the correct 40.5 mm thread until it sits flush; avoid over-tightening. Use the filter for outdoor photography in bright daylight, at high altitudes or near water to reduce ultraviolet haze and improve clarity. When storing the lens without the filter, keep the filter in its protective case to avoid scratches.

Recommendations

Clean the filter glass with a microfiber cloth and appropriate lens cleaner before shooting to ensure optimal optical performance. Remove the filter only when using specialized filters (polarizers or ND filters) that require stacking, and check for vignetting when stacking multiple filters on wide-angle lenses.
