The Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-12 is a 120 mm computer case fan designed to provide balanced airflow and low noise for general-purpose cooling. It uses a high-grade LLS bearing with a class-leading 100,000 hours MTBF and a counter-pull magnet to reduce axial tension on the bearing. The fan’s aerodynamic geometry and specially shaped stator struts reduce turbulence and humming, delivering consistent performance across a variety of system layouts. Available in pure black, the GP-12 is compact (120 × 120 × 25 mm) and operates at 12 V for reliable case ventilation.

Advantages

The Dynamic X2 GP-12 combines an optimized blade and stator design with a high-quality LLS bearing to achieve a long service life and a smooth noise profile. Noise-reducing features such as strategically placed notches, a rear-side trip wire and wide-angle stator struts lower audible hum and unwanted turbulence while maintaining a good balance between static pressure and maximum airflow. The 120 mm size and classic Fractal Design styling make the fan suitable for most case mounting points.

How to use

Install the fan into a 120 mm mounting position in your PC case using the standard screws supplied with the case or fan. Observe proper airflow direction when placing the fan for intake or exhaust. Connect the fan to a 3- or 4-pin header on the motherboard or to a fan controller, and ensure the 12 V supply and header type match your system. Secure wiring to avoid contact with the blades and verify the fan spins freely before closing the case.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use the GP-12 as part of a balanced airflow configuration (for example: front intake and rear/top exhaust). Periodically check and clean dust from the blades and stator struts to maintain airflow and noise performance over the fan’s service life.
