ACT RL9712 Καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικών ινών 12 m LC I-V(ZN) H μωβ

The ACT RL9712 InfiniBand fibre optic cable 12 m LC I-V(ZN) H Violet is a 12-metre optical patch cable engineered for high-speed, full-duplex data transmission. Built with OM4 multimode fibre, this cable supports dense networking environments and is suitable for short- to medium-reach interconnects inside data centres and server rooms. LC connectors on both ends provide compact, reliable terminations compatible with standard InfiniBand and fibre-channel ports.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers high bandwidth and low insertion loss typical of OM4 multimode fibre, enabling stable multi-gigabit links. The LC connector format reduces connector footprint and simplifies rack and panel installations. The I-V(ZN) H cable construction provides mechanical protection and flexibility for organised cabling runs, while the 12 m length allows connection between distant racks or equipment without additional splices or adapters. The violet jacket colour aids visual identification in mixed-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between switches, servers and storage within data centres
• High-speed InfiniBand and Fibre Channel networking links
• Patch panel to equipment connections in server racks
• Laboratory and enterprise network test setups requiring 12 m reach

Key specifications

• Cable type: OM4 multimode fibre
• Length: 12 metres
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Violet
• Construction: I-V(ZN) H rated for mechanical protection and flexibility

How to use

Route the cable along designated cable trays or within rack cable managers to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. Align and insert LC connectors into matching LC ports until they click to ensure a secure connection. Verify link status on connected devices and, if available, use optical power meters or diagnostic ports to confirm expected signal levels. When disconnecting, depress the LC latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule or connector housing.

Recommendations

Maintain minimum bend radius as specified for OM4 multimode fibre to preserve optical performance. Keep connector end faces clean; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools before making connections. Label both ends of the 12 m cable in patch panels for easy identification, and avoid routing next to high-power electrical cables to reduce potential interference in dense installations.
